Join tree lovers Thomas (Friends of Trees) and Ryan (Nidus Consulting) for a casual tree appreciation ride around SE Portland. We'll visit several of our city's remarkable Heritage Trees, talk about the benefits of trees, and end our ride with a discussion about how we can expand our urban canopy. Mostly, we'll just enjoy the company of each other and the shade of some gorgeous trees. Thanks to PCEF funding, riders will also have the opportunity to sign up to receive their own FREE trees planted through Friends of Trees! We'll also share volunteer opportunities and other ways to get involved with trees in the city. **This event was rescheduled to Tuesday, July 7, to avoid conflicting with Rumble on the River #32, which is also tree-themed!
