Ride length: 0-3 miles
This ride will be a relatively short, casual paced ride for families looking to get out and spend some time with their kids using pedal power! The goal is to get more families into riding bicycles instead of driving everywhere, and showing families safe neighbourhood spots and paths in Washington County! The party will kick off at Elmonica Elementary School in Five Oaks at 10am, and the closest MAX stop is at Elmonica Railyard, less than a mile south. We will depart at 11am and ride en masse to the 7-Eleven on NW Schendel Avenue to get free slurpee! The closest MAX at the end is going to be also at Elmonica Railyard, about 1 mile south. The ride will be about 1 mile in a relatively flat neighbourhood, on quiet neighbourhood streets. All people and all wheels are welcome! Please be respectful of any children who come along, as the last thing we want to do is discourage them from cycling.
